Dorrington, Lincolnshire

Dorrington is a parish and village of fewer than 300 persons, in North Kesteven, Lincolnshire, 2km south of Digby. The village is mostly just off the B1188 road. Grid reference TF080529. Its church of Saxon origin and surrounded in legend overlooks it from its north-western end. Near the church is the house in which Sir Frank Whittle lodged while he was working on the development of the jet engine at RAF Cranwell.
