Dorothy at Forty
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Dorothy at Forty is the first single off of the album, Happy Hollow by Cursive. It is another typically atypical romp, catapulted by incisive guitars, punctuated by horns and jerking to a stop before mightily spiraling away into the song's rousing coda. Released July 11, 2006, "Dorothy at Forty" is backed with non-album tracks "The Bitter End" and "The Censor."
This single is the 93rd release of Saddle Creek Records.

Dorothy At Forty - Lyrics
Dorothy, I Know You've Had Amazing Dreams, We Can't Go Chasing Down Each Golden Street, Each And Every Rainbow, Each Passion, Each Unattainable Goal. We're Not In Dreamland Anymore.
Dorothy, It Seems You'll Never Understand, The Visual Land Is All We Have, Every Sweat Stain Color, Every Dollar, Every Red and Bloodied Spur. We're Not The Kids That We Once Were, We Can't Be The Adults We Want To Be.
