Dorothy Catalonia

Dorothy Catalonia is the grandaughter of Duke Dermail of The Romafellor Foundation, and is as a representative of Romafellor sent to the Sanc Kingdom where she meets Relena Peacecraft. Dorothy attends Relena's private school, but unlike Relena, Dorothy does not believe in total pacifism. Dorothy has a deep admiration for war, and believes that battle purifies society. She usually hides this behind sharp witicism and banter.

Dorothy is considered one of the more manipulative characters of Gundam Wing, and in the end her Machiavellian schemes backfire, killing her grandfather and leaving Dorothy defeated in a world without war. She eventually learns that she must accept who she is, and allows her kind and emotional side to break through her cold exterior (though she still retains a good percentage of her dry sarcasm and smugness. She visits Zech's grave and lays flowers on the tombstone.

Dorothy is a very skilled swordswoman as both Heero and Quatre can attest (Heero loses to Dorothy, but Quatre wins). She is also an excellent tactician, remotely piloting several mobile suites while aboard Merquise's Libra station.

Not much of Dorothy is seen in Endless Waltz, but she is shown chiding and teasing common folk for not having the bravery to fight against Mariemaia Khushrenada and her army.
