Dornier Do 22
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Dornier Do 22 was a German warplane developed in the 1930s. Its exceptional performance for the period made the fact that it was built entirely for the export market somewhat peculiar. It was built in Dornier factories in both Germany and Switzerland, with aircraft then being sold to Yugoslavia, Greece and Latvia. In March of 1938 a prototype with conventional landing gear (L Model) was completed and test flown.
