Dormanstown is a place in the borough of Redcar and Cleveland and the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire, England.

Named after the Dorman Long iron and steelworks, which was expanding rapidly in the early 20th century, the town was purpose built for its hundreds of workers and their families. Now considered a suburb of Redcar, Dormanstown, with its council estates and high unemployment rates, has a reputation as a run-down, rough area which stands in the shadow of a gigantic ICI chemical plant.
