Dorion, Quebec

Dorion is a community in the city of Vaudreuil-Dorion, located about 30 km west of Montreal, east of the Ontario-Quebec border. It was merged with the town of Vaudreuil to form the current city.
Dorion is bisected by Highway 20 which links downtown Montreal and Toronto as well as the Highway 401 in Ontario. A rail link between Toronto and Montreal is located in Dorion.
Housing developments began in the 1950's and continued well into the 1970's. Throughout the 1980's and the 1990's, housing began sprouting north and east of Dorion.
