Dorin Nicolae Goian, (born December 12, 1980 in Suceava), is a Romanian football (soccer) centre back.

In 1997, aged 17, Goian is signed by Foresta Fălticeni, a small club from Suceava county, to play for the club's second team. Two years later he is promoted to the first team, but in 2000 he is lent to Gloria Buzau for a period of few months. Once returned to Suceava, as in meantime Foresta moved from Fălticeni, and continues to play for Foresta both in Divizia A and Divizia B until 2002 when is signed by Ceahlăul Piatra Neamţ but after one year he is transferred to FCM Bacău from where he is selected for the enlarged Romania national football team.
In the autumn of 2004, Goian is bought by Steaua Bucharest, his current club.
As of October 7, 2006, Goian won five caps for Romania, scoring once.
Dorin's brother, Lucian, is also a professional footballer who plays for Dinamo Bucharest, Steaua's famous rivals.
