Sorry, but does anyone know why that corner is called "The Old Hairpin"? Thanks.--Skully Collins 08:52, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- Er... It's a hairpin, and it's old? :-)
- It isn't quite a hairpin now, but the original corner would have been tighter - the old track goes through the arch in the bridge. I think it would have been the tightest corner on the old track before the GP loop was added (the original GP loop, that is). I don't have a source for any of that, though. -- Ian Dalziel 09:19, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
