This entire article was rewritten, since it is mostly about Grand Funk and not Don Brewer. Grand Funk has its own entry, rendering the information in this article largely repetitive. Furthermore, this article contains completely irrelevant and unsubstantiated information, such as the statement that former bandmate Mark Farner was an alleged high school football prodigy.
