Donut King is Australia and New Zealand's biggest doughnut chain. Before the introduction of Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts in the Australian market, Donut King was well established in the country. The Donut King chain was founded in 1981 and is currently owned by the Gold Coast-based Retail Food group, with approximately 270 stores in Australia and New Zealand.

Besides doughnuts, Donut King also serves a large variety of other beverages and food items, such as coffee, soft drinks, milkshakes, soft-serve ice cream and hot dogs. Many of these are offered along with doughnuts as part of a promotion or "meal deal".

Donut King also sponsors various events around Australia.

[edit] Slogans

  • Donut King; the greatest tasting doughnuts in the world!
  • "What do you feel like?" - this slogan leads a recent campaign featuring discredited One Nation politician Pauline Hanson.
