Don Stansauk

Don Stansauk (born 1936, died January 28, 2004) was a professional wrestler who died in 2004 best known by his ring name, Hard Boiled Haggerty. Don Stansauk was an ex-professional football player who became an actor after his wrestling days.

Hard Boiled Haggerty was a solid main eventer in the upper Midwest and in California and a frequent competitor in the WWA promotion in Hawaii.
During 1960's Haggerty would be involved with the American Wrestling Association promtion and hold its United States Heavyweight title on one occasion and its tag titles 4 times with three different partners:
After retiring from wrestling Don "Hard Boiled" Haggerty would go in to acting and appear in a few movies. On June 20, 2003 he was in a car accident in Los Angeles and suffered a broken neck and other injuries. On January 28, 2004 Haggerty died at the age of 68 at his home in Malibu.

It was the promoter Wally Karbo, that dubbed Don Stansauk as "Hard Boiled Haggerty".
- "Irish" Pat McClarty used the "Hard Boiled Haggerty" name in California in 1939.
- Benny Rosen and Lou Reyhneer also used the "Hard Boiled Haggerty" name during their career.
- Another wrestler named Babe Sharkey used a similar name, "Hard Boiled HANNIGAN".
