Don Smith

Don Smith (norn in Cornwall, Ontario) was a Canadian professional hockey player who played one season in the National Hockey League for the Montreal Canadiens.

[edit] Playing career

Smith played 7 seasons in the defunct National Hockey Association (NHA) for the Montreal Wanderers, Montreal Canadiens, Montreal Shamrocks and the Renfrew Hockey Club. Smith left the league at the conclusion of the 1915-16 NHA season to serve in the war. Upon his return, in 1919-20 Smith re-joined the Montreal Canadiens, who had moved to the National Hockey League, for one last year of professional hockey.
