The Don Shula Award is a traveling trophy awarded annually to the winner of the Shula Bowl. The Shula Bowl is a yearly college football game between the Florida Atlantic University Owls and the Florida International University Golden Panthers. This trophy was first awarded in the inaugural game in 2002. The trophy and game are named in honor of former Miami Dolphins head football coach Don Shula. Currently the trophy is held by FAU as they won the 2006 game with a score of 31-0. FAU leads the overall series 4-1.
