Don Rojas

Don Rojas (born 1949) is a Grenadian journalist and political commentator. He was the Editor in Chief of Grenada’s national newspaper "The Free West Indian." He served as Prime Minister Maurice Bishop's press secretary from 1981-1983. When US Marines invaded Grenada in 1983, he was deported by the US military to Barbados.[From http://www.selvesandothers.org/view905.html]

Since moving to the United States, Don Rojas has worked as General Manager of Pacifica Radio station WBAI in New York from late 2002 through May 2005. He is currently employed as a press officer by Oxfam America.
