Don Marcelino, Davao del Sur

Don Marcelino is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Davao del Sur, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 33,403 people in 6,544 households.

Don Marcelino-was created in 1980 and the first appointed mayor was VICENTE S. MARUYA for 6 years and right after the edsa revolution he was forced to step down and VICTOR RODRIGUEZ took over and became the mayor for 3 terms followed by FIDEL SASUMAN whos the current mayor of Municipality and it is his last term now. It is politically subdivided into 15 barangays.
