Don Koehler

Don Koehler (1925-1981), Denton, Montana, USA. He was 249cm (8 ft 2 in) due to acromegalic gigantism. Had a twin sister who was 5 ft 9 in (175 cm).
After the death of Robert Wadlow in 1940 he was the tallest man in the world, ½ inch taller than Finland´s Väinö Myllyrinne. He died in 1981 in Chicago, by which time he was measured at 7 ft. 10 in. (239 cm.), a result of the medical condition kyphosis.
