The story of the song is about a guy who's been left by his girl and just loses all faith in life. He won't go out, won't find another girl because he's still in love
This song has been covered by many artists and there are usually three ways in which it's covered.
1. A vocally domianted cover- This version is the singer sings every verse and every chorus, backed by the band.
2. A purely instrumental cover- This version is purely instrumental, with different parts led by different instruments and usually two or three sections of improvisation.
3. A shared cover- This version is usually staretd by a singer who takes maybe the first verse and chorus, and then a solo instrumentalist will take over for a while. perhaps with improvisation.
