Dominic Minghella is a British television scriptwriter. His most successful project to date has been the creation of the ITV network comedy-drama series Doc Martin, starring Martin Clunes, which began in 2004. He is also the chief writer and show runner of BBC One's 2006 production Robin Hood, being produced independently by Tiger Aspect Productions.

He is the brother of successful writer and film director Anthony Minghella.
