Dominic Madden

Dominic Madden, born in Coventry, England, 1975, is a theatre producer and entertainment industry entrepreneur.

A graduate of University of London in 1997, Dominic subsequently managed a number of London's not-for-profit theatres prior to assisting Sacha Brooks and John Reid with their West End theatre production of The Graduate starring Kathleen Turner at London's Gielgud Theatre.
Madden subsequently produced a number of West End theatre plays under the banner, Gekko Theatre, including Michael Frayn's play, Benefactors and an English Restoration whodunit Faithful Dealing starring Jason Connery. In 2001, Madden was the Executive Producer of Unite for the Future Gala, the UK's fundraiser for the British Victims of 9/11 and Medecins Sans Frontieres at London's Old Vic Theatre and hosted by Oscar winners Kevin Spacey and Dame Judi Dench. The programme was co-produced by UK rock and roll promoter, Harvey Goldsmith.
Madden came to prominence in 2002 by purchasing the derelict historic Elephant and Castle Theatre/Coronet Cinema (1872) and implemented a £3m refurbishment of the music hall, restoring the theatre style and removing the ABC Cinema conversion. A 2,370 capacity central London venue, The Coronet has hosted live music events and nightclub events and launched with popular R+B artist, Justin Timberlake.[1]
