Dominic Arkwright

Dominic Arkwright spent time in independent radio before joining the BBC as a reporter and producer in local radio in Birmingham. He joined Today as a reporter in 1988.
As the longest serving reporter on Today, Dominic has travelled widely over the years covering conflicts in Afghanistan, Mozambique, Nagorno-Karabakh, Kashmir and Kosovo among others.
He is best known for his feature reporting, particularly on so-called "light" or funny stories but has also taken on the task of boosting Today's coverage of religious affairs.
Dominic has also worked on BBC2's Newsnight and on documentary programmes such as File on Four and Special Assignment, and has frequently been featured on Radio 4's Pick of the Week.
He has four daughters and a son and lives in Gloucestershire. He is the presenter of Radio's edgy late night conversation series Off The Page
