Domestic partnerships in Hawaii
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The state of Hawaii has recognized reciprocal beneficiaries since 1997, including same-sex partners, who cannot get married. They have access to a range of rights and benefits on the state level – inheritance rights, workers compensation, the rights to sue for wrongful death, health and pension benefits for state employees, hospital visitation and health-care decision making.
