[edit] edit summary on Benny Hill
hi CBT, regarding ur edit[1] of Benny Hill, the edit summary reads "remove stupid literally". i just wanted to bring to your notice that such a judgmental tone in edit summaries is deprecated (pretty strongly) in wikipedia and is best avoided. cheers, Doldrums 15:16, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
- Hm, yes. I remain of the opinion that "his Television show has literally been seen" is absolutely awful, appalling use of language, but I'll concede that there were probably less iritable ways to point this out.--Cherry blossom tree 15:39, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] copyright violation

[edit] RFC Response
hey, thanks for taking the time to respond to the RFC for Fox News. Any help you would be willing to offer to cleanup the project (and keep some people from burying/ignoring controversy) would be appreciated. I might try to setup some more structured organization soon. Also, I accidentally posted this to your User page (instead of user talk). i couldn't move it across namespace, so I blanked your user page and moved it here. End result: you now have a created (but blank) user page instead of none at all (redlinked username). I'm really sorry about that, just wasn't paying attention. :( /Blaxthos 22:29, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] RfA FNC
Cbuhl79 has opened a Request for Arbitration about the Fox News Channel intro wording. Somehow he forgot to notify you. I am requesting you visit the RfA and add your $0.02. Current RfA Page. Thanks! /Blaxthos 20:17, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
Sorry, I did not notify every editor who made a single comment in the dispute. Cbuhl79 03:15, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks!
Hi, Doldrums! I just wanted to thank you for your very kind welcome to me, which I only just stumbled across. (Who knew you could have a user discussion page without actually having a user page?) –Little Miss Might Be Wrong 03:50, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Indian Army Act, 1911
Hi. Back in August you put a comment on the talk page for the List of Acts of Parliament of the United Kingdom Parliament, 1900-1919 that the Indian Army Act, 1911 appeared to be missing from the list. Just to let you know that this wasn't actually a British Act of Parliament, but rather legislation enacted in India by the Governor General. Cheers, Silverhelm 17:01, 20 November 2006 (UTC).
[edit] Jennifer Ann's Group
Thank you for your impartial and helpful comments. I've taken what you said and will work to get more articles about the group in print. You can read further on the talk page for the group if you'd like. Drew30319 00:09, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
