Dolpa District

Dolpa district, a part of Karnali zone, is one of the seventy-five districts of Nepal, a landlocked country of South Asia. The district, with Dunai as its district headquarters, covers an area of 7,889 sq km and has a population (2001) of 29,545.
Dolpa is also the largest district of Nepal.The deepest lake in Nepal,the Shey Phoksundo taal,lies in the district.It is also one of the two distrcts that lie across the Himalaya,Mustang being the other.
