Doha International Airport (IATA: DOH, ICAO: OTBD) (Arabic: مطار الدوحة الدولى) is the only airport in Qatar. It has three mosques, free wi-fi, a large duty-free area and a few eateries. Its 15,000 ft. runway is one of the longest at a civil airport.
Despite a recent expansion to the airport, many passengers claim it is woefully small and crowded. People generally report long wait queues for the restrooms (especially for the ladies rooms), the eateries are very small, many people have to sit on the floor, and the only place with dependable seating has no departure/arrival postings. [1]
The existing airport will be replaced in 2008 when the first phase of New Doha International Airport is expected to come online.
