- The image is necessary and standard to display the film as a whole for the lead-in infobox.
- The image does not inhibit sales of the DVD or posters for Dog Day Afternoon.

- The image does no damage to the image or quality of Dog Day Afternoon. In fact its use exactly fits the purpose of a movie poster, promoting the film.
