Dogs in Canada
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Dogs in Canada is a monthly magazine published by Apex Publishing Limited. Dogs Annual in Canada is an affiliated annual magazine that is included with subscription. The magazine was started as a newsletter for the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC), however since then the CKC has been less involved with it. The magazine features articles about dogs, it originally focused purely on Pedigree dogs and dog shows, but has moved towards becoming a more general interest dog magazine, and now features some articles on mutts. This change in tone has not been without controversy, especially because a subscription is included in the price of membership of the CKC, and some CKC members believe that if the price of subscription is included in the fee, than the magazine should focus solely on purebred dogs.
