Dogs Die in Hot Cars

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dogs Die in Hot Cars is one of a number of young Scottish bands breaking onto the UK and international music scene, alongside Biffy Clyro and Franz Ferdinand. Their debut album Please Describe Yourself (released on V2 Records) received critical acclaim on release, and they have toured in Australia, the UK and in America. Three songs exemplifying the band's uplifting lyrical style and hook-oriented pop music songs are "I Love You Cause I Have To," "Pastimes & Lifestyles," and "Godhopping".

The music may be reminiscent of New Wave band XTC, but the band lists their influences among others as Nirvana and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
