Doddington Park

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Doddington Park is an 18th century historic house and a former stately home in Nantwich, Cheshire, in the north west of England. Doddington Hall is a large private mansion designed by Samuel Wyatt, which was rebuilt ca.1780. It is set in gardens landscaped by Capability Brown, overlooking Doddington Lake, a popular sailing venue. The 13th century castle is to the north of the Hall. The house is at the moment the subject of substantial building works which are being effected in four phases. Stage I (refurbishing the exterior) has been completed. The house belongs to the family of the Delves Broughton baronets.
