Docusync

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

DocuSync™ Continuous Data Protection (CDP) system is a trademarked software package developed and owned by Pay-Store.

When disaster strikes, organizations need to be able to continue operating with minimum disruption and with virtually no loss of their valuable business information. DocuSync makes this level of business continuity available in a comprehensive, cost-effective solution. DocuSync automatically replicates changes made to files in a primary server to a remote, secondary server. In the event of the primary server failing, users can connect immediately to the secondary server and continue accessing their valuable digital content. The secondary server may be located either within the organization's secure Intranet, or at a remote, secure hosting site. DocuSync provides an unrivalled level of secure data replication and data access across an IP network and can be configured to provide automatic load-balancing across two or more servers.

Currently DocuSync™ can perform this functionality for Xerox DocuShare™, a Web-based enterprise Content Management and Document Management software application. In future, DocuSync™ will be extended to other content management and document management applications.
