Doctor Sarah Bellum

Dr. Sarah Bellum is a fictional character featured in Disney's animated television series Darkwing Duck.
Bellum is a scientist, the somewhat absent-minded head of S.H.U.S.H.'s research division. Although profoundly intelligent, she has a rather crazed sense of humor and tends to lose sight of basic safety measures in her work (She once referred to test subjects as "victims" before quickly correcting herself.). Her goal is to win the Nobel Prize for the inventions she creates for S.H.U.S.H., which have included the Norma Ray and Expando-Whammo Pies. She appears to be an anthropomorphic canary. Possibly uniquely for a Disney character, Sarah Bellum appears to be Asian, with the colour of her feathers more in the area of a light tan, as opposed to the other bird characters being white, and her eyes being smaller and narrower, instead of the large eyes that most other characters in the show shares.
Dr. Bellum's name is an obvious play on the cerebellum, a region of the human brain. She shares this name with the eternally faceless yet efficient secretary and aide-de-camp to the scatterbrained Mayor of Townsville on The Powerpuff Girls.
