Dobříš

Dobříš is town with about 7900 inhabitants, 40 km south from Prague. First memorated in 1252 in letter written by king Václav IV. Town rights are from king Ferdinand in 1543.

There was famous glove factory. Glove manufacturing was founded by Jew Salamon Abeles in 19th century. In the town is famous castle, connected with the Colloredo-Mansfeld's. Near Dobříš, in Huť's pond is the place, where was Muskrat first released in continental Europe.
