"Do It Again" was a single which was released by The Beach Boys in 1968 on Capitol Records. The B-side of this single was "Wake The World". The lyrics were inspired by a day Mike Love spent surfing with a friend[citation needed]. The song was recorded in May and June of 1968. The song is only available in mono because the stereo master had been lost in the making of Stack-O-Tracks. There are some hammering sounds at the end of the track which originated from the Smile sessions. Brian sings falsetto on the studio track and horns replaced Brian's voice in concert. The Endless Harmony soundtrack features this song with different lyrics.
