Do Butlers Burgle Banks? is a novel by P. G. Wodehouse, first published in the United States on August 5, 1968 by Simon & Schuster, Inc., New York, and in the United Kingdom on September 19 1968 by Herbert Jenkins, London.
Bond's Bank, founded by Mike Bond's philanthropist father, is in trouble, and with the examiners due, only a miracle can save it. Fortunately, just such a miracle is on hand, in the unlikely shape of Appleby, on the surface a rotund butler but secretly head of an ace criminal gang. Of course, with so many people wanting the bank burgled, with so many motives, chaos is bound to ensue...
