Bond's Bank, founded by Mike Bond's philanthropist father, is in trouble, and with the examiners due, only a miracle can save it. Fortunately, just such a miracle is on hand, in the unlikely shape of Appleby, on the surface a rotund butler but secretly head of an ace criminal gang. Of course, with so many people wanting the bank burgled, with so many motives, chaos is bound to ensue...
