Dmytro Chyhrynskyi (born on November 7, 1986 in Izyaslav) is a professional Ukrainian football player for Shakhtar Donetsk. Dmytro was part of Ukraine's 2006 World Cup Squad. He is also a member of the Ukrainian Under-21 National football team and a contributing member in the UEFA U-21 Championship 2006 in which Ukraine finished as runners-up. He was officially chosen by UEFA as a member of the team of the tournament[[1]], in his position as a centre back. Chyhrynskyi was set to be on the starting team in Ukraine's 2006 World Cup campaign, however an injury forced him out of the entire competition [[2]].
