"dmsetup" is also the name of a component of the dm-crypt disk encryption software.
#DmSetup is an IRC channel on the Undernet IRC Network offering free malware related assistance, that started in July 1998, as the evergrowing number of clients infected with at least one of version of the dmsetup worm, found help in what was then, the only Undernet Virus Removal channel.
This organization provides Free Malware Assistance, information about being secured and other ways on how to clean a virus/malware.
Support is provided by volunteers. These volunteers provide "round-the-clock" coverage for users in need of help. Help is available in English, French, Spanish, Romanian, Filipino/Taglish, Macedonian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Norwegian, Serbian, Arabic, Greek, Portuguese, Urdu and very soon we will cover other languages.
