I know and see your point. I will assert that Wikipedia is not a place to make something popular, but rather a encyclopaedia that documents things that have become popular, or are of note to society. I asked one of my friends about the phrase, and he said that a) he frequents 3 hip-hop forums and b) has never seen it. (of course, he won't let me verify this by putting his screen name on here, so you'll just have to take my word for it...) Also, for the Google results of "1. Peace out," of the top 10, only 2 are of this usage; the others have to do with other things. If you can indeed make it verifiable, by all means do so. Enlist the help of Mr. Kesoglides to improve it if it must be done.

By no means am I against you because I'm trying to delete the article; it just seems to me that it is not yet a facet of pop culture (and even possibly general teen culture?) and based on this, should not yet be included in Wikipedia.
