DK Bongos are drum-like controllers for the Nintendo GameCube game series Donkey Konga, Donkey Konga 2, Donkey Konga 3, Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat, and until recently the upcoming game DK Bongo Blast (now known as DK Kongo Blast). Each side of the controller is shaped like a classic Donkey Kong barrel with a rubber drumskin fastened on top. It also has a built-in microphone to detect clapping (although hitting the sides of it also functions well).

In Japan they are called tarukonga. Tarukonga is a Japanese bongo drum, or a Japanese term for a set of bongo drums. While the original name is Japanese, tarukongas have a bountiful history in Africa.

In Donkey Konga and Donkey Konga 2, the DK Bongos detect left and right hits, the hitting of both sides simultaneously, and clapping.
