DJ Smash

DJ Smash (born Wayne Hunter, December 1, 1962 in Brooklyn) is an internationally-respected music producer with Blue Note Records. As a member of Groove Collective, he contributed a remix to Stolen Moments, a compilation album from Red Hot Organization's long-running Red Hot AIDS Benefit Series.

Among the notable performers whom the Brooklyn native has worked with include Roy Ayers, Herbie Hancock, Towa Tei, Guru and Donald Byrd.
