Donald J. "DJ" Bonebrake first surfaced as the drummer of the Eyes (also featuring Charlotte Caffey of the Go-Gos) is best known as drummer and original member of punk rock band X. He has also performed with The Flesheaters, another early L.A. punk band, over the years.

Bonebrake also performs with the country-folk-punk band The Knitters.
