Divriği Great Mosque, was built in 1299 situated in the Sivas province. The architect was Hürremşah of Ahlat and the mosque was built on the order of sultan Mengüçoğlu, Ahmet Şah. The inscriptions contain praise to the Seljuk sultani Alaaddin Keykubat I. The mosque, alonhg with the darüşşifa is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List because of the exquisite carving and architecture. İt is considered to be one of the most important works found in Anadolu; the geometrical anh floral patterned reliefs found on the main door in particular attaract great interest.
