[edit] Career

Carmen Antón (Diva Mamen) recorded her first album when only 10 years old. It got favourable reviews, although it was only with the release of her next CD she would be considered a great Spanish pop star.

In 2004 she released her first 'best of' CD, after two more albums with poor sales. In addition to this, Carmen was dropped from her label and signed with another one. The self-titled album Diva mamen (2005) was praised by the critics, and it also sold well worldwide.

September 2006 she was expected to release her sixth album named Realidad (Reality), with influences from more mature music. The first single was Astutos Hombres De Miel, which was released on June 26, denying the rumors of cancellation. However, the song failed to chart in Spain becoming in her worst single since 2003.
