Bticho, personal image of strabismus surgery -- medial rectus muscle being disinserted following pre-placement of vicryl sutures. A Castroviejo locking forceps is grasping the superior pole of the muscle, while a Manson-Aebli scissors does the cutting. The eyelids are being held by a Cook speculum.

• Note: This image was replaced by the same one uploaded in commons in most pages it was used in. Commons is usually the best place for uploading photos and is much more accessible. The image on commons is: [1]. Thank you.
