[edit] Summary
Recording of a prospect call from a telemarketing center for Discover Card. Note that the agent takes 20 seconds to put on his headset and start talking. The long silence at the start makes it sound like a prank phone call at first. The called party's voice was obscured for privacy. This was an unsolicited credit card offer. A professional recorder coupler with a recorder warning tone was used and a notch filter keeps the warning tone at a low level in the recorded audio. You can faintly hear an instance of the recorder warning tone starting at 16.22s.
