Districts of Durham

The County of Durham is divided into 63 electoral divisions, which are comprised of wards, parishes and parish wards, as set out in Statutory Instrument 2005 No. 176, The County of Durham (Electoral Changes) Order 2005. The 63 electoral divisions are grouped into the districts of Chester-le-Street, Derwentside, Easington, Teesdale and Wear Valley, the borough of Sedgefield and the City of Durham. Each electoral division is represented by one councillor.
