In 1991, the municipalities with Albanian majority were: Ferizaj/Uroševac (88.10%), Shtime/Štimlje (92.38%), and Kaçanik/Kačanik (98.31%). The municipality of Shtërpca/Štrpce had a Serb-Montenegrin majority (64.15%).
