The term Disco Volante (flying disc) may refer to;
- The flying discs thought by many to have come from Atlantis - no evidence exists for this theory
- This is referenced in Terry Pratchetts' The Colour of Magic, where the mercantile culture of Krill uses discs powered by magic and piloted by hydrophobes (who hate, nay detest water)
- Disco Volante (ship) is also the name of the (then) high tech ship in Ian Fleming's "Thunderball".
Disco Volante could also be a more prestigious name for;
- The ship envisaged by the Nazi Jenseitsflugmaschine (other world round flying ship) project
