Dis Oui

Dis Oui (English translation: "Say Yes") was the Belgian entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1998, performed in French by Mélanie Cohl.
The song was performed twentieth on the night (following Sweden's Jill Johnson with Kärleken Är and preceding Finland's Edea with Aava). At the close of voting, it had received 122 points, placing 6th in a field of 25.

The song is sung from the perspective of a woman pleading with a man to give up his previous relationship and love her instead. She paints various images of the bliss that they can have as a result.

It was succeeded as Belgian representative at the 1999 Contest by Vanessa Chinitor with Like The Wind.
