Directors Forum
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Directors Forum is the main conference of the Art Museum Partnership. The goal of this annual conference is to engage museum leaders throughout the United States in an exchange of views on issues of mutual concern.
The Art Museum Partnership, based in New York City, is a nonprofit organization that provides the leaders of not-for-profit art institutions with networking opportunities that facilitate the sharing of information, resources, and collections. The Partnership was primarily established to benefit the directors of small to medium-sized museums that comprise the largest segment in the field, but are not represented by other professional organizations. However, the leaders of large museums are also encouraged.
