In mathematics and statistics, a or positive or direct relationship is a relationship between two variables in which they both increase or decrease in conjunction.

In a direct (or positive) relationship, if one variable increases/decreases, the other variable also increases/decreases. Also, the quotient of all the pairs of quantity is constant.
