It has been suggested that Dipsy is a representation of Rastafarianism, due to his relaxed gait, hat and his face, which is darker than the other Teletubbies. Po represents Marxism and Tinky Winky, who like to dress up in fairy skirts and carry a red handbag, is all about transvestitism and alternative sexualities. Laa Laa (female) is yellow, happy, sunny and innocent.
